Sizzling steaks and songs at the piano bar under the Lafayette Hotel in North Park..

Step inside the restaurant/piano bar, and it'll take a few minutes for your eyes to adjust. The lighting is low, the wood furniture is dark, and the vinyl booths are a deep red. Guests from the adjoining Lafayette Hotel mix with locals who sit down with hearty steaks, potatoes and whisky on the rocks. Tunes of Elton John and Billy Joel play during the day; at night, the piano music is live.
