Very Positive experience. When my car broke down, a friend referred me to Thao's, but it's reputation online was a little sketchy. I took it there anyway and I'm glad I did. Lee, the mechanic who helped me, was very helpful and did a thorough evaluation of my car to see what was wrong. He fixed the one problem it had and did not try to convince me that I needed unnecessary repairs, as has happened in other situations. The only issues were the sketchy area and some of the mechanics don't speak very good english, but they do quality work and I will use them in the future.‎

New lows in customer service.. VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. Took my car in for a quote on what should have been a quick and easy repair. I was quoted 4x more than 2 other local garage estimates I had. I was told by the Manager that those garages are liars, while he is professional and honest and that if I didn't repair my car in the way he suggested I would be sorry or may even get in an accident. I said I would be taking my business elsewhere, then he told me to get lost. He (Mr Lee) was rude, insulting, and dishonest.

Use this place at your own risk, if you like rude pushy mechanics, or enjoy being lied to then taken advantage of.

Billing Fraud, Overbilling, Trickle-up Scammer...BEWARE!!!. Unnecessary "Trickle-up" billing is what you will get here. My quote/bill of $250 jumped to over $900 without my permission. Unauthorized repairs were done without my permission, then they tried to stick me with an outrageous bill. I refused to pay, then I was personally threatened. The manager is an out-right liar -tells you one thing then does another, all without your ok. We are reporting this garage to the consumer watchdog organization (the B B B) and State Attorney General. This place is a dump and in need of an OSHA inspection. Be warned! STAY AWAY!!!
