In Short – It's no longer just the swanky restaurant inside the Marriott Del Mar that's getting all the hype. Brian Pekarcik is also offering some of his best small plates out on the hotel's poolside patio. Bright red umbrellas and cool, white private cabanas give the lounging space a more tropical, casual vibe than the restaurant, as does the DJ booth spinning Latin and Caribbean beats. Servers bring out munchies tapas-style and cocktails from the bar inside.

There's plenty of space for a large gathering. Their patio area can be rented out for parties of 200-400 people.
Know Before You Go:
As of summer 2007, they still don't have a separate bar outside, so be sure to grab drinks on your way out to the pool.
When to Go:
Depending on the season, they often have live, local music on Sundays.
