In Short
In the old Cafe Cerise space, Stout feels like a cozy British pub that's been there for years, even though it opened in 2007. A large wooden bar takes up the entire right side, while stairs lead up to a second level with more tables and TVs. Known for showing hockey games, serving healthy pours of dark ales and a more gourmet pub grub menu than most neighborhood bars, the owners proudly work the crowd from behind the bar.

Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with good food at a reasonable priced (most items are around $7.00 as of Feb 2008). Tomato soup was to die for!

Stout is a wonderful downtown neighborhood pub. The staff are welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable yet classy. The food is unbelievably great but not pricey. This place has a lot of character and I will definately be back for more of their great Guinness!
