Best mexican food and best prices in town!. For the best carne asada in town (big chunks!), great guac and amazing salsa! This is the place for some tasty food.

Great margaritas, a good selection of drinks and beer.

Try the shrimp wrapped in bacon or the carne asada torta. Two of my favorite plates. Sit in side or try the back patio by the fountain.

You can't go wrong!. Chiquita's has been around for a long time, and for good reason! Great mexican food and a great place to take your family!

You gotta try this place. GREAT food! Best Mexican food I've ever tasted in a restaurant. I recommend the Botana. Huge plate of food. I've been going there ever since Ray and his wife bought the place. While in San Diego I don't eat anywhere else

Chiquitas is my favorite!. My parents have taken me to Chiquitas since I was an infant (more than 30 years ago) , and they were at their old location. The food rocks, awesome margs and super cool people. Hopefully I'll take my kids there too!

Carne asada burritos and slushy margaritas are favorites inside this cheerful Mexican eatery east of downtown.. In Short
The sign is tiny, but fuschia-colored flowers blooming over the bright yellow exterior indicate that this is the right place to be. Operating since 1967, the eatery moved to this airy City Heights location in 1984. Inside, hanging plants hover over booths of families and couples dining on plates of enchiladas and burritos. Standout entrees include the garlic shrimp and the New Mexico enchiladas--three corn tortillas layered with cheese, onion and eggs.

Best Mex around!!!. The best kept secret of the local community. I have been dining at chiquita's since 1989. It is simply great food at a great price. The atmosphere is family oriented and you can still find room for a romantic dinner. The lunch is as good as the dinner, you can't go wrong here. Incredible mexican cusine!!

Great Place. I've been coming to this restaurant since the 70's. It's a wonderful family run place with great food at extremely reasonable prices. Order the freshly fried chips for a unique experience. Everyone I take here keeps coming back.
