this hotel is not what it says....microwaves and fridges are 10$ each, and 7$ a night parking ..... upon entering the room there were stains on the rug, it had mold in the bathroom, torn furniture and the bay view included the tops of sail boats...no bay....so we try to get out of the room at 345 and spend 45 min trying to reach front desk.....you then say we have to pay the night SUCK go to best western works out cheaper and is cleaner with better view

Great hotel BUT... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!

It would be hard to beat this hotel for comfort &convenience. They serve both Amtrak and the airport, and they happily delivered us to the cruise ship dock. In fact, in order to accommodate us and the many other cruise ship passengers staying with them, they put a second shuttle into service. There is a bus stop 1/2 block away. We were able to take busses to SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo, and also to Old Town and the downtown area. There are several restaurants and fast food places within walking distance, as well as a restaurant in the hotel, and there is a large super market on the corner. It would be hard to beat this hotel for comfort and convenience, and for the friendly attitude of management.

It is in a much quieter location. I am amazed at the bad reviews for this hotel, and wonder whether they describe the same place? We stayed there for 5 nights in March, and again in December It is an older hotel, but it has been newly renovated with care and our room was always clean and fresh and comfortable. It is in a much quieter location than I would expect in a big city (we could leave our window open at night), and the rooms on the harbor side have a nice view of the city skyline. Their shuttle service is absolutely wonderful.

I'm not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from.. Our room was clean, we had a view of downtown San Diego and part of the harbor. I definitely recommend this hotel. I'm not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from.

Was also comfortable, carpet was nice and clean, the staff w. Don't know what everyone is complaining about. My room had no mould, no awful smells, I was not bitten by anything in the bed- which was also comfortable, carpet was nice and clean, the staff were helpful and the elevators worked just fine...nor is it the slum that people are making it out to be.

Housekeeping staff was friendly. Internet access in lobby was nice, front desk staff was great with directions, housekeeping staff was friendly, and took are of our needs fantastically!

In-hosue bar was comfortable and casual. We did all 5 things, and were conveniently located to all of them!

Great customer service, comfy room, with nice bedding, and a huge window, with a view of the marina, reasonable price, reasonable breakfast, quiet hotel, underground covered parking was nice, and the hotel itself was pretty well decorated. In-hosue bar was comfortable and casual, and even allowed us to take our drinks to our room, though in plastic cups.

Great location to be close to everything. Hotel is in a great location if ur coming to do everything we did. San Deigo Zoo, Gaslamp Quarter, Old Town San Diego, Sea World, and Tijuana
