Editorial Review for The Venetian – by Erin Chambers
In Short
Comfy booths and glass-top tables with Italian scenes underneath dot the dining room, and soft lighting, wine bottles and Tuscan wall murals warm up the space. The outdoor patio with vine-lined latices and strung lights is straight out of Italy, as is the small bar inside, often occupied by those waiting for take-out orders. Pastas, sandwiches, and classic veal and chicken entrees dominate the family-style menu, along with several seafood options.

Trash, from the outside entrance, to the waitress, and most importantly the food. The waiting area when you first enter is a joke. The waitress looked like an old piece of leather and her personality was pushy and rude. The decore was from the 70's and dirty. The food was terrible.

I've been going to the Venetian 'before I was born'. This place is a must for great pizza and a large selection of pastas and other dishes. While I reserve Baci Restorante as my favorite Italian restaurant, the Venetian is a great place for pizza and selection of other dishes for those nights when you dont feel like a super fancy dinner.
Pros: Local crowd, not too fancy or dressy
Cons: Out of the way, limited parking
