Squisito!!!. Great new place in La Paya/Pt. Loma! Come and enjoy an evening of great food and wine and a very attentive staff. The Beet Salad is wonderful and the Ossobucco to die for. One of the best in San Diego.

What a nice suprise!!. On a whim and after working in our office in the neighborhood, we stopped in and enjoyed the best meal we have had out in a long time, and we eat out a lot. The ambiance is delightful with mellow colors of yellow and red throughout. We had the homemade Salmon ravioli - delicious - and the Risotto - mmmmm - yummy and not too rich. Nice sized portions. We shared a beet salad to start and the flavors of the goat cheese, beets and dressing really complimented each other. Again, plenty of food, nice wine list and wonderful attentive staff who will share their cultural heritage with you (Italian!!). Lovely and well worth the time in a location infused with Italian restaurants (four in a two block radius!). Welcome to the neighborhood!!

Small Italian trattoria tucked into La Playa serves simple Italian classics on an outdoor patio strung with twinkle lights.. In Short
Formerly known as Luna Notte, this sister restaurant to Hillcrest's Arrivederci, is a lively addition to the La Playa neighborhood. Featuring attentive service and a warmly inviting décor, it's perfect for an affordably priced family dinner, business lunch or a date night destination. The roasted beet salad is a favorite with regulars. Other specialties include osso bucco, salmon ravioli and shrimp risotto. Must-have desserts are tiramisu and raspberry cheesecake.
