humphrey's is a must. whenever we visit san diego we include a stay ay humphrey's. the rooms are very nice but the grounds are beautiful and always impress first time visitors with us. the location on shelter island provides great views of the city, the bay and point loma. i like to take a morning run around the island and always see seals, dolphins, and lots of different bird life. humphrey's is also just a quick walk to one of our favorite restaurants, the bali hai. we have stayed here at least 6 times and have always enjoyed our stay.…
redroom. The rooms are small, with no amenities. The staff seems to be more concerned about concert goers than hotel guests. There is no parking on concert nights (even though you are told that hotel guests have preferred parking) and there seems to be a lot of non guests hanging out at the pool, drinking and listening to the concert for free.
