PDQ Burgers.
I was starving and read nothing but good things about PDQ.
First off, I ordered a couple of Dodger dogs, replacing onions for sauerkraut and was told that it was an extra dollar because I was just holding the chili and onions, not substituting. Okay, sounds fine when one is hungry. That and zucchini was my order.
It took over an hour to get to me while I am only about a mile down the street. In addition, they really didn't sound like the wanted to deliver but did. After waiting over the hour, my friend called to find out that we were the third in a stop of deliveries.
While the delivery guy was nice, the food was definitely not worth the wait. The zucchini was reheated and was soggy and tepid. The hotdogs were burnt, also nuked and the sauerkraut on the dog was equally burnt and nuked -- making the whole meal not only not satisfying but no longer edible.
My friend ordered a boca burger (cold), not completely cooked and while she got the same quality of zucchini, it was nothing compared to the greasy, cold things that were considered french fries.
Well, she did bother to go back to return the frenchfries and why they were a disappointment, but it did not seem to get any response or offer to make up for it.
So, I find that I will give them the only response I can to those who do not have any pride in the food that they serve and the community that they live in -- and that is to use the paper that the menu comes in for recycling the bottom of my garbage can and to write them off the list. Maybe the food is good when you are there, but the delivery aspect of their business is shameful...and it even has gone up. Unfortunately the ffood and service is way down.…
