On par with a homeless shelter.
Don't waste your time, money or sanity at this dump. It is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in. The room stank of stale cigarettes, the shower had mold crawling up the wall and there was a bathmat that looked about 30 years old. The shower temperature ranged crazily during my shower as well. Not to mention the front desk offers "discount" tickets to the San Diego zoo. We thought we were being smart by getting the tickets at a reduced rice of $30 each. Turns out the front desk was smarter. When we showed up at the zoo, the tickets were only $28! WHAT A SCAM! If I could give this dump zero stars I would.
Oh, and never order pizza from a flyer that gets slipped under your hotel room door at the Vagabond Inn. These companies are fakes and cook the pizza in unsanitary conditions like their garage. Several customers have been known to get sick. Could this place get even worse?
