Horrible gym! Avoid it at all costs!. This particular location is very dirty (wads of hair in the shower area, sanitary products on the floor, toilets seats covered in human waste), smells, and the staff are rude and unprofessional. They sleep, eat, listen to music, pretty much do everything but their jobs. I had a personal trainer there named Cercy touch me innapropriately, say sexually explicit things to me, and make sexual advances towards me. I & a few other people have caught him & other staff members engaging in sexual acts in their back offices after hours & the club manager does nothing about it. I was at this location for about a year when I switched to 24 hour fitness. They are worth the extra money every month because they won't allow any of what goes on at Bally's happen there!

Don't Join. This gym is gross and the staff are rude and unprofessional. Save your $24 per month and join Frogs instead! Frogs is clean, staff is friendly.

Very Dirty and smelly!. I dont know what it is about the Mission Valley Gym. Ive been a member of Bally's since 1991, started in Fresno and moved to San Diego. The one in Fresno is very nice and very clean. I never have to wait in line for a machine and its just a better gym with better equipment. Then I moved to S.D. Ever since Ballys fired the cleaning staff at Mission valley, myself and many others have contacted a bad staph infection (no joke) due to dirty equipment. Numerous machine's are broken taking months to repair them. Constantly have to wait for a machine making your workout less productive. The bathrooms are disgusting, dirty, no soap, toilets unflushed, toilet paper missing. Balls of hair in the crease of every corner. Its really bad. So, 24hour fitness doesn't sound so bad. Its gotta get better.

Better than 24 hour fitness. You two are crazy. Ballys is a way better gym than most gyms I have been to. I have both a membership at Ballys and 24 hour fitness, I enjoy going to Ballys much better. The only con I see is that they close at 8 on the weekends.

Cheap membership has it's cost. The Mission Valley Bally's is small, dark, and usually smelly. They have a lot of old equipment that really needs to be updated. They can't compare to the "luxury" gyms like Golds in Sports Arena area, but they do have less expensive membership dues. They also have a pool and a full running track. If they updated/remodeled the club and added some better classes, it would be a much more pleasant experience to go there.

OK gym!!. This gym needs a total face lift. Its always super crowed during the evenings. There BOSU bootcamp is the best, its very, very intense but its worth it. They have a pool and jacuzzi, although for some reason there are always old men there
