Do NOT Shop Here!!. This place does not even rate one star! It has been a nightmare trying to deal with these people at every turn! The customer service is non-existent. It started with placing the order for the wedding dress in May. It did not arrive until the first week in January. That was the least of our troubles with them. They do not communicate with each other nor us, do no return phone calls, no-show on appointments and actually lied about phone messages. We are still missing the straps to my daughter's dress, which we will have to buy elsewhere. These were supposed to arrive with the dress. The manager last told my daughter to find them online on a website that apparently does not exist. Hard to believe all this happened. I am amazed they are still in business. The place needs to be closed so they don't ruin anyone else's bridal experience.…
Very Helpful. Cali was my consultant. She was very helpful, friendly, and genuine! Made my day.
Anger, confrontation, overcharged, oh my!.
In a few words:
Unless you are willing to pay for expensive alterations on the wrong size dress, and expose yourself and family to a confrontation go elsewhere. They made our pre-wedding experience a nightmare.
The Review:
Why are all the 5 stars on here from around that same time??
I almost don't want to write this because it means I will have to relive this experience again, but here it is: A man who was some type of manager (owner??) screamed at me when I told him I was there to pick up my dress. My father/family was in all the way from Colorado and my family got to witness their yelling. This guy then yanked on the dress that I tried on to show me it was too big. Yes, he physically yanked my dress and me in it, repeatedly while yelling at me and telling me that I was wrong and that the reason the dress didn't fit was no fault of his.
He told me that I had written several Yelps about him and that I was a liar. I explained that I had only written one review, and that if others were complaining, that maybe it was a sign that something was going wrong with their operations.
This infuriated him. He was so verbally and physically angry that I feared for my safety (or that someone in my family may try to protect me) so I paid for the dress (which was an 8, and I wear a 4) and left. In my filtered review I talked about telling the shop over 3 months earlier that the dress was too large, but they just told me to call Bride America and that it was a big corporate thing and that I was forced to pay for a huge alterations cost or go somewhere else.
Even after being measured the day I picked up the dress, I was the same size.
They told me that I lost all these sizes. This is not true, I have been the same super thin, really tall, odd ball since I was 16. Not only that, perhaps everyone is so afraid of the intimidation from the manager that they accommodate his style of service. It was funny that no one wanted to give me his name or tell me he was the manager. Perhaps they were trying to protect me??
I am willing to speak with a mediator about this, but I will not speak with the angry man ever again. I will also be taking this to the BBB. I am so sorry for the people who work for this man, and for the ladies who end up here thinking it will be a positive experience.…
BRIDAL AND VEIL HAS GREAT REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY DESERVE THEM!. Dear "Mayaan" You are probably another bridal store trying to sabotage Bridal and Veil's business, because there is a a lot of that in the industry. I am a consultant at Bridal and Veil and have been working for Sal for a few years, If I ever thought my brides were getting the end short of the stick, I would never have stayed working fr anyone dishonest (specially we are dealing with the BEST day of your life!). See, is like any other business, good reviews and not so good ones and sometimes the not so good ones turn out not to be our fault. If you base your shopping experience on internet reviews you will never purchase anywhere. It is all about your own experience with us, if you walk into our salon and we give you bad service you do not have to purchase from us, but it just does not make since to not give you our best service. This does not imply we never have mishaps, BUT IT DOES IMPLY WE WILL ALWAYS FIX THEM!…
Hmmm?. Interesting how all these "great" reviews are written only 2 or 3 days apart from each other AND how a lot of them have the exact same things written as the "good" reviews on yelp. People, go look at the yelp reviews before you go here. Sal seems like a total scum bag who doesn't care about his business and is accused of removing bad reviews and Cynthia seems like she is paying people to write good reviews for her and put her name in all caps. Do your research before you go here!!…
