Perfect location and friendly service!. I travel to San Diego about once a year and I will never stay anywhere else! I have moved around year to year and happened upon the Handlery this year for the first time. I was very impressed by the attentive and friendly help at the front desk and the concierge/bell desk. The hotel itself is a bit dated but the location, just off the Interstate 8, is only minutes from all the local attractions and walking distance to a trolley stop. It appears as though the hotel has been updating the rooms as there were some 'under construction' signs around and I can not wait to return next year to see the updates personally.…
nice pool great price- staying here next time. Third time here with my boyfriend- close to the beaches and good price. Be sure to request the poolside rooms.
