The burger didn't fall far from the grill. We had high expectations of the 'Big kitchen' progeny, and weren't disappointed. Commonwealth is the most recent addition to a slew of north park eateries and manages to set itself apart by consistently delivering awesome food and excellent service. we go in for the burgers and stay for the music, conversation and atmosphere. your burgers rival hodads....and really...there's no higher compliment a san diegan can pay you.

Shining brightly next to the Bluefoot Bar & Lounge lays a haven of greasy food for North Park's diehard, dive-bar regulars. Inside, a counter filled with radiant pennies, glittery vinyl booths and a shiny soda fountain add to the retro theme. Diner staples like chili cheese fries, BLTs, baked potatoes, and omelettes dominate the simple, cheap menu. Fresh limeade is the signature drink, while desserts include cinnamon toast and homemade pie a la mode.
