Magnificent Evening, Great Food, Time to Celebrate.
My wife and I decided to visit the Starlite for our 42nd Anniversary dinner. What a great choice!
We started with Mussels in a delicious tomatoe sauce and toasted our special day with a Champagne Sparkler for each. We followed with Arugula salads with fresh avacado and grapefruit slices: Zesty!
Then I moved on to a 8 oz. Prime Steak, prepared to perfection. My wife had the "deconstructed" Jidori Chicken with veggies and biscuit: ummm,ummm GOOD! Our server, Annie, was attentive and responsive, but not intrusive.
We finished with some well drinks to top off the evening: a totally wonderful hot buttered rum for me and a spectacular Starlite Sling (gin, cherry Heering, Benedictine, lime, pinapple and other goodies) for my wife.
We split a large slice of tasty Banana cake, so we wouldn't ruin our diets completely! But hey, it was time for celebration. Les les bon temps rollez, oui? Yes, in deed!…
