Awesome!!!. The Boardwalk has a nice young staff. The food is excellent, beers are cheep and cold in frozen scooner glasses. Everyone loves the pitchers of mimosas. The patio is huge and perfect for people watching. You are steps from the beach and what a terrific place to watch almost any ball game. The roll up garage door windows make the atmosphere feel open and beachy.

Great breakfast and cheap beers. This is one of my favorite places to go to brunch in San Diego. I'm a big fan of starting with the hummus plate and dining on the lobster tacos. The inside is filled with flat screens showing basketball and football or surfing movies so it's a chill place to watch games. There are a number of beers on tap but Natty is the beer of choice here because of the $2 goblets.

Try to snag one of the tables outside to enjoy the foot traffic along Mission and on the way to the boardwalk. Parking can be tricky but if you can't find anything on the street be sure to check the rec center.
