In Short – First opened in 1963 in Lowell, Mass., under the name Consumer Value Stores, this drugstore chain is among the largest in the country. I will never go to this pharmacy again!

Denise the pharmacy technician announced to all CVS customers and staff within a 20 foot radius exactly which medication I needed to get refilled and why my insurance plan would not cover it. SHe was unprofessional and lacked the required discretion that medical employees shoudl always excercize. She was so incompetent that she could not figure out how to split billing between secondary and primary insurance and then claimed that I owed a $2,700 dollar deductable before I could get my prescriptions for the co-pay price. When she claimed my birth control would now cost me 100 dollars a month, she referred me to the condom isle and told me to "double up" as I couldnt trust men and didnt want to have to care for someone for the next 18 years of my life! I will never go to this pharmacy again. After phoning both of my insurance carriers, they informed me that CVS is notorious for hiring employees that lack the education and skills to perform the requirements of their job functions, thus the reason why the insurance companies get so may phone calls with issues regarding presription re-fills.
