Well worth the trip!!!.
My husband and I joined my parents for a fabulous dinner. For us it was about a 20 minute drive but well worth the trip. We began with a strawberry, goat cheese, balsamic vinaigrette salad. We had the "Chef's Whim" mackerel with crisp seasoning, fingerling potatoes and a side dish of spinach, onions and mushrooms. My parents had the asparagus salad and steak with pomes frites that were out of this world! For dessert we had butterscotch creme, creme de chocolat, rhubarb strawberry crisp and the hazelnut butter cake garnished with cherries. Compliments to Chef Chet and our lovely waitress, Sorry I forgot her name, but she was very nice and friendly.

Point Loma's neighborhood brasserie blends French classics with lighter, local seafood selections in an upscale, rustic space.
