No recommendations from me. I can not recogmend this company to anyone per the work they did for me. The job took 4 months to complete from the down payment made to completion. Prep work was poor, my back door was painted shut, painters did not pick up after themselves and the forman could not find any problems with the work unless I pointed it out, several times. I caution home owners to check referrals and hope my experience was due to Murphy's Law and others are getting quality work

This company does not honor warranty work. In 2006, tired of repainting the trim and south facing part of my house every year, I was contacted by a representative of Nucote, who promised that with their treatment of my house I would never have to paint again, and that it would be guaranteed for my lifetime. Additionally, it would not fade or stain. Cleaning could be done wih a garden hose. The company also painted the trim of my house.

I recently discovered multiple cracks in the Tex Cote, the north side of the house is covered with soot from the recent fires in California (which will not wash off) and trim colors are comming loose. The cracks are located on the sides of the house which recieve nearly constant sunlight.

would recommend anyone considering using this product and this company, reconsider. It is good for a lifetime only if you plan on dieing within 3-6 years.

I contacted the company and told them of my problems. They replied that with the housing slowdown, they had downsized, and it would be a week or so before they could get out to inspecte my house. A week laterI was contacted and told they would be out the next day. Suprise! No one showed up.

Nocote Ruined my mothers house!. I have read all the reports on Nucote and tex-cote. My mom was told these exact same things. She was promised all the same things and like you and many others,she is just sick at what has been done to her home. The home that has been in our family since day 1. My grandfather, my mother and us, her children have always hand scraped, SANDED, primered and painted everything by hand. Only when my daughter was diagnoised with cancer,(we were just begining the above mentioned process) did we even consider letting someone else paint her house.

She was told almost to the letter everything other customers have been saying. She too, did her homework, we also made sure the shrubs, flower beds , down spouts etc. were cut and or removed before painters came. We are now on the third time around, and the house is a mess. The first time product was applied in two days. they pressure washed, primered and painted. Color applied was wrong.

Second time just applied right color. Everything seemed to be fine until product starting peeling chipping and mushy spots started appearing on siding.

Third time 06/19/08 house is worse than ever, not because of painter but because of the product. We now have been told once it gets put on to a house you can never get it off or you will have a sticky sticky mess. NOW WHAT?

This is not over by any means. I am confident it will be resolved, but how long and how much stress or by how many attorneys is yet to be determined. Thanks Bettye Farrar I guess what the on line reviews about you are accurate.

My advice to the perpetrator of the false blogs is: Rather than trying to tarnish my company?s 35 year track record for excellence, do quality work and take good care of your customers concerns and success like mine will follow. Nucote is the best contractor. I had a wonderful experience at Nucote. They did the coolwall system on the exterior of my house.

I am very happy with the results. My house looks beautiful now. I loved Nucote's customer service team. They were very nice and helpful. I would refer Nucote to all my friends and family.

Nu-Cote The Exterior Coating Specialists I highly recommend them.... Hi, I'm Olivia. My husband, and I had Nu-cote out to apply the Nu-cote Coolwall system. The crew was fantastic. They did an excellent job on our family home and attended to all the details with care. They did above what we expected from them and in a timely manner.

They also installed beautiful vinyl retrofit windows in our house and they are just phenomenal.

I am just thrilled, and all of or neighbors are asking us what company did our house because they also want the same excellent quality. We feel we were treated like we were royalty. I loved the whole experience from signing up, pricing (and we studied up on a lot of local companies), to finish.

Nu-cote came through with all we hoped for and more and made us some very happy people. We highly recommend the company.

Overpriced and Not responsive. Buyer Beware!! The nu-cote product is over priced and good luck getting warranty work done. Have been calling them for 3 months to have someone come out to do some repairs. Finally, after I called again, am told today someone will be out at the end of the week. For those of you expecting something special-- it is not. Nu-cote is really only a paint job--not a special coating that I can see. Within a few years it is already bubbling and chipping off, and, the hipe about life time warranty is just that --a hipe!

Am now told "life time warranty" really means --the first seven years they will bring paint and come out and do warranty work, but after seven years they do not provide the paint, only the labor. Hmmmm. Not much of a lifetime warranty. I will never do anything like this again. Very expensive lesson learned!!
