GO WITH ANOTHER STORE OR COMPANY. This store had the worst customer service of all the bridal stores that I tried. There's way too many out there to settle for this. The manager Sonja hung up on me when I called to check on a bridesmaid dress that I'd been waiting on for 7 weeks.
They were GREAT – I called from Canada, asking for help to enable my daughter in law to be, to have the dress she dreamed of. She looked in numerous stores but Alfred Angelo's was the best spot.
Monica, at Alfred, looked up, and held a few suggestions I had from their onsite options, along with a description of my daughter in law, such as hieght etc, and when she arrived at the store to try on the dresses, Monica had the chosen ones out, and one she thought would be perfect given the phone description. We tried the one she suggested, and it was PERFECT, as was the fitting thereafter, and customer service.
I was able to provide a credit card from out of the country, over the phone to pay, and the store could not do ENOUGH for us, to ensure this day would be perfect. The bride was thrilled with her choice. On revisitng, to purchase a headpiece, the same attention to detail was paid, and great service.
Not only did we get a good price, additional savings were offerd as stated on their site and in their ads.
Sometimes the treatment we receive in a store, form the human beings who work hard and are on their feet all day, might be a reflection of the attitude we arrive with.
Save yourself the stress... go elsewhere! – First of all, A.A. will lie to you to get the sale. I saw ads for a sale at A.A so I went there for my first exp trying on wedding dresses. I found a dress I liked and double checked with the senior associate there that this was in fact the last day of the sale. She said yes, so I decided to buy the dress. The sale went on for at least another month after that.
Anyway, I paid for half and when they called me 3 weeks later to say the dress was in, I paid for the other half. I picked it upa nd tried it on to make sure all was good. It wasn't. there were stains and rips all over the bust and train. Clearly, they try to pass off a used dress as new. The mngr said she would order me a new one but it would take a few months. By May I still hadn't heard so I called to check on it. They never ordered the new one!! Got a hold of Dist Mngr and got new dress ordered. My new dress finally came in the other day and it still has stains and frays. They offered to have alterations fix it but I don't trust them anymore. The DM has refused any sort of comp and corporate ignores negative feedback. I have given so much time and stress to this situation and nobody at A.A. gives a damn. I'm not a perfectionist, I'm not a bridezilla. I just want a dress that is clean and what I paid for. I really hope no other bride ever has to go through this during the last 4 months of planning. I ordered my dress well in advance and with less than 2 months til the big day, have to find a way to get this thing cleaned up without putting too much more money towards it. Oh, and my bridesmaids got their dresses through David's Bridal and they were in within weeks and look gorgeous!!!
