Editorial Review for Pho T Cali Restaurant – by Amanda Knoles
In Short
Colorful murals of scenic landscapes line the walls at this popular Vietnamese eatery noted for pho dishes featuring a variety of beef and noodle combinations. The house special, Dac Biet, is a large combo plate of rare steak slices, well-done brisket, flank tendon and tripe. Other menu favorites include steamed rice vermicelli with shredded pork and shrimp, and a variety of stir-fried rice noodles. Must-have appetizers are the spring rolls and char-grilled ground shrimp on sugar cane.

If you do not speak vietnamese you should not go there because they talk sh*t and make fun of you in VIETNAMESE right in front you.I have been thier customer for over 4years and i decided to not to come to you place NEVER again. I visited this place one time with my vietnamse girl friend and she definately heard one of the workers ( SKinny and Young one, very rude)talking sh*t about me. I noticed my girl friend was very upset when we were eating but did not tell me what was going on that time. But after we finish eating, she told me that that rude young worker was talking sh*t about me in vietnamese. Just because i do not speak vietnamese doesn't mean they speak sh*t about customer right in front of them. I wanted to speak to owner, but front guy would not let me do it over the telephone.

They changed their name a little while back because people kept getting them confused with other restaurants. Anyway, their food won't make you tell all your friends about this restaurant, but nonetheless, you will keep coming back. Their menu is pretty extensive, but I normally go for one of the Pho selections. The spring and egg rolls are very good. The coconut drink and fresh lemonade are also some of my favorites. Don't expect attentive service as is with most Pho-type restaurants, but your order does come out pretty fast.
