Poor Service.
Sept 16,2011
Wanted to try Roy's for lunch, called for location and were to park. Lady who answered phone hung up called back could not help us. Used map quest . Arrived at Roy's Was seated by a young lady who's bra strap were falling out as she walks us to our table. Next we were seated busboy came out level out our table. Waiter took our order and suggested lobster potstickers which were very good. meal was great service however sucked. You get what you pay for !!!! NOT at this Roy's.
Unsatisfactory.
We have taken our family to celebrate the 80th Birthday of
our father, and were seated at the table without an umbrella in the sun, waited for to be moved for 15 min.
Than, our meal arrived, but without the rice, or our Birthday
boy dish, which we waited again for 10 min., the same
happened to our desert.
We were all upset and try to report it to the management,
who promised to make it write for us, but never did.
Upscale Hawaiian fusion cuisine served bayside at the Marriott Hotel and Marina..
In Short
Owner Roy Yamaguchi's classic specialties are the main attraction at downtown San Diego's waterfront outpost of the popular chain. Featuring tropical inspired décor, the restaurant has a casually sophisticated ambience that is complemented by a bustling sushi bar and romantic outdoor patio. The Canoe Appetizer is perfect for sharing and includes several of the most popular starters including a tropical shrimp cocktail, spicy ahi sushi rolls, lobster potstickers and spiced baby back ribs. Hawaiian-style butterfish, prosciutto-wrapped tiger shrimp and macadamia crusted mahi mahi are signature dishes, but guests may also select from several steak, seafood and chicken combo platters.
