Thanks Melinda!. Running late to the gym, having no time to wash and style my new long hair, I pulled it into a ponytail and was out the door. Throughout the day, no less than 5 people commented on my "cute" hair; each time I thanked them, I also thanked Melinda. When I met Melinda at AHC, I had glued on hair extensions on my fine and very short hair. After a very thoughtful consultation, Melinda worked her magic, with an eye for quality, design and dreams. Has my beautiful new hair changed my life? Well, no... but it sure is a lot more fun. Thanks Melinda, Thanks Yadira, for your beauty, your professionalism, for your personal care and attention.

Worth every cent!. After extensive research on hair extensions, I was confident Advanced Hair Concepts was THE place to go. The hairloc system is your best system out there, especially if you have fine hair. Trust me, any other method is going to TRASH your hair. I have suffered from low self confidnce due to fine thinning hair for over a decade. Melinda changed that in an instant. My extensions and color are so natural looking and blended PERFECTLY into my real hair. I even have friends and coworkers with what I consider gorgeous long hair wanting hair extensions now because my hair looks so great (strange, but true)! The way Melinda does the extension match, cut and color- noone will ever question whether your hair is all yours or not. Melinda also nailed my hair color to a tee with just a brief description to her of what I wanted as far as highlights. She is trully talented at what she does. And the best part, you can reuse your hair extensions for up to a year (give or take) if you maintain them properly.

THE BOMB!. AHC is amazing. My once-fried blonde hair is thicker, healthier and getting longer thanks to Melinda!

Yadira is the best! She always makes my hair look FABULOUS!

Best extensions in San Diego!. I had my advanced hair lock extensions done at Advanced Hair Concepts by Melinda and i absolutely looooove them. After years of experimenting with every type of hair extension available... from hair dreams, to even glueing them in myself, these are by far the best Ive ever had. Melinda is great and i was shocked that within an hour and half I had a full head of brand new, gorgeous extensions! (Other salons had taken up to 7 hours to install a full set of new extensions)

These extensions do not slip out the way other extensions Ive had in the past would.

Im so greatful that I came to Melinda and her team, I cannot express in words how happy I am with the result! I would deffinetly recommend this company to anyone!

Love this place!. I was referred to Advanced Hair Concepts from a very good friend with raving reviews. I was very happy with the entire establishment! I love my new hair extensions, I have worn them without telling people that I had them and no one realizes that they are really not all mine (which is what I want)!My hair extensions look so real I can't imagine not having them. Advanced Hair Concepts really know what they are doing and are worth the money.

Gorgeous Brazilian Blowout and Hair Extensions. I was searching around for a salon to perform the Brazilian Blowout and hair locs extensions. After research via email and phone calls...i found it. I met with Melinda and she was great...and new exactly what I wanted. I even showed her pictures from a magazine. She just got it. I made the appt and I am sooo happy. Love love love, the straightening and extensions. My hair is gorgeous!!

Best Hair Extensions. I first went to Advance Hair Concepts in November 2009. In the past I had my lomg hair chemically straightened which caused damage to my hair. I have been trying to grow it out now for about 3 years. I finally gave up and decided to try Hair Extensions.

This was my first time trying them and I absolutely love them! I have always had long hair and wanted to look like myself again. It takes a little time to get used to them, but within a week you will never want to go without long hair again.

The owner and staff are all very nice. I am about as hair obsessed as they come. I have spent tons of money on hair products trying to repair the damage from the previous straighteners. I will stay with Advanced Hair Concepts as a regular client.

I also recently had my hair colored there and it matched perfectly to my extensions and existing hair.

I love it, my friends love it and I highly recommend them to everyone!

Service and quality are superb. Such a great salon. Service and quality are superb! Melinda and her team really care about your hair and getting the best results. Have gotten so many compliments on my extensions and surprise that its not my real hair. Melinda also is great with hair color!!

Great Color and Brazilian Blowout. I moved to San Diego leaving my long time hair dresser and was extremely hesitant on trying somebody new. I tried a salon in Poway that a classmate suggested and I was extremely disappointed and my hair was hideous, then a friend recommend Melinda at Advance Hair Concepts and I couldn't have been any more pleased. She not only corrected the color but has done an amazing job since. I have extremely unruly hair that demands specific hair products and lots of flat ironing. Melinda thought I would be a perfect candidate for a Brazilian Blowout, so I trusted her opinion and booked the appointment. I am so pleased with the outcome. I save so much time getting ready everyday. I can let my hair-dry (I have NEVER been able to air-dry) while doing my make-up then use the flat iron to touch up around my face. I just cant believe it's taken me 27 years to finally find the answer to my hair problems, I will never be able to go without!

Need Hair?. I have been going to Advanced Hair Concepts for the past 5 months, I waited to write a review on my hair extensions because I wanted to make sure I liked them long term.

I have partial extensions, to fill in my fine/thin hair, it's shoulder length, and my extensions feel as if they are a natural part of my scalp.

On my first appointment at AHC I received a free consultation, where I was shown different options and Melinda was honest about what would be best for my fragile hair.

One week later, I had thicker, healthier looking, beautiful hair!!

I have not looked back, nor have I been disappointed! It is completely natural, there is no pulling, no tangling, it all blends perfectly.

This experience has been a cost-effective, time saving, wonderful addition to my life. I would like to wear these extensions forever!
