Terrible. Terrible! We went earlier in the year for restaurant week and it was very good. Returned recently to find most of the unique choices were taken off the menu and it's now very boring. Their 3 course dinner used to offer 3 entrees and now only offers 1. We selected the only choice (the filet). One was over-cooked and one was under-cooked. The veggies were limp and dripping with pasty sauce. The potatoes were luke warm at best. Very poor! Then, the lava cake dessert looked more like a pile of steamy chocolate pudding -- My wife and I have NEVER taken one bite of dessert and pushed it away! I contacted the CEO of the company and he did not care at all. I had to play phone tag with him for weeks and he never did care to make the situation right. The food is plain terrible and the CEO of the company doesn't give a darned about his guests ----- Just say NO to Bing's (Crosby must be turning in his grave). A terrible shame to have the great Bing associate with such a disgrace of a restaurant/CEO.

Great service, good wine list, not so great food.. We got seated and promptly ordered. We were surprised at the menu prices as this place is in a mall and across the street from a cheesecake factory. Wine list was decent (I've never seen a half bottle of Opus One offered). We had a glass of Stag's Viognier and Hess Zin, both were excellent.

We had the duck crepes (ugly presentation but quite tasty) and the baked goat cheese (awful. Served in a dish put under a heating lamp and served with toasted rye bread which over powered the cheese.

Entrees: Sea bass special. The sea bass was served with a risotto. Now let be preface this by saying we are foodies, but we certainly don't expect cuisine from most restaurants. That being said, for a $35 entree, I ought to get a proper risotto. Picky as this sounds, Risotto is a very tough dish to make and should only be made to order.. or at least finished to order. What was served was a mush. The sea bass wasn't much better. Overly fishy for sea bass and chewy

The lamb 3 ways incredibly disappointing. I ordered medium rare, which is standard fare for lamb. It came out without a hint of pink in the two fishes (the 3rd'way' was a shepherd pie where the lamb was stewed). While the flavors of the sauce were good, it was like hide. I sent it back. It came back seared and completely raw in the center. Inedible and unacceptable for one of the pricier entrees. Had a movie to catch or I would have sent it back again.

That being said, the service was incredible. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and friendly. He apparently told the manager, also very friendly, about the food mishap and he comp'd a glass of wine and an appetizer.

Final verdict is incredible staff and customer service, but the food was poor especially at that price point and the crowd was largely under-dressed mall patrons. With steakhouse fare, you should be able to properly cook meat. Total tab for 4 glasses of wine, 2 appetizers, and 2 entrees with a glass of wine and appetizer comp'd: $125.

Editorial Review. Storied restaurant chain opens in Fashion Valley with vintage glamour, fine wine and a smooth piano bar.
