Fried calimari. This place is a little too classy for my tastes (i.e. wallet), but I have admit their fried calimari bowl is pretty damn interesting, tasty and well priced. Keeps me dropping in at the bar occasionally. The staff is super nice, too…
Unpredictable. After hearing rave reviews, we tried it out. We tried the brunch- it was unpredictable. Skip the seafood papardelle and eggs and potatoes (very salty) but don't miss out on the "cinnamon roll." It's really rich puff pastry w/ cinnamon and citris butter- not the traditional cinnamon roll most of us are used to. The place is cute, customer service is pretty good, but the prices are steep.…
Great customer service and delicious food. What a find! I know this restaurants been around for quite some time now, however my wife and I have only recently discovered it being new to San Diego. We have both been to Laurel and Chive and think that this is our favorite out of the three restaurants operated by the same restaurant group.
