Resurrected Furniture. Amongst the decorations and furniture that span a variety of times and places, the air of Resurrected Furniture fills with eclecticism. In the back of the shop, various Chinese pieces stand in silence, while as you make your way towards the front, divergencies tendril out: books on art, antiquing, painting, furniture from across America, figurines and statues. The collector, who reads everything with interest, will see all the possibilities of these items for being the crowning achievement of their collection at Resurrected Furniture.

The shop itself seems an extension of owner Charles Stuart. A lover of travel, collected locales make his tale; one such, Portland, Maine, was such to his taste that he opened a store there. But, never staying in one place or job for very long, he moved about and checked interest into painting, arts and crafts, jewelry, tie died shirts and real estate. An assorted mix with little in common. But when called to infer, you can see what connects this handful of work and places as the story of others. In each position and place, people with needs and obtuse interests come forward, looking for a piece that makes sense given what they have seen and experienced. The amazing thing about an antique or collectible than is the story behind it. A swelling past of both personal and objective travels.
