love this place, First time doing highlights and I loved it.

i paid 200 for highlights, haircut and style. They are amazing , it was a bit pricy but i rather go here than great clips off of tierrasanta which is nothing GREAT about it.. they suck i paid 15 for my haircut and 50 to get it straightened..

I rather pay my 200 for an awesome service and great people than some cheap place with no sense of style

Great facials, microdermabrasions, brow waxing. Excellent facials, microdermabrasions, brow waxing, etc services by Jessica. I see Jessica once a month for facial services and have been going to her for a while. No need to look anywhere else. Great service from Jessica and Carlton Spa EVERYTIME! Highly recommend. A great spa experience all around.

Best Salon for Cut, Color and Style. Ask for Giti!!!

I have been going to this salon for the past 6 years. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else. In fact, I just moved to Charleston,South Carolina for my job and fly back just to get my hair cut, colored and styled by Giti. I tried to get find someone in my state to do my hair, but always find myself very disappointed. I don't think I have ever left Carlton Salon unhappy in all these years. You'll also find that the customer service is above and beyond any other salon. If you are looking for a place that has head to toe talent... look no further. Ask for Giti and you'll never be disappointed. :o)

Jessica - Esthetician. So I have had alot of different people do my eyebrows and waxing since high school (I am now a graduate student in San Diego) and Jessica at Carlton Hair Salon is by far the best Esthetician I have ever had. I found her about a year ago at Carlton Hair Salon and I refuse to go anywhere else. Her personability and nice demeanor make the experience at the Carlton Hair Salon very enjoyable. She is also very skilled and I know that I can rely on her to tell me if something is going to look look or not.

ASK FOR JOCELYN M!!!. Went into Carlton a month ago to get the BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT done bc i've always hated how long it'd take me to style my hair everyday. AND....i LOVE it! i still love it a month later! you would never guess that my hair is naturally curly. the thing that's great about the BB is that it actually helps your hair, rather than destroys it, like other perms. My hair is really shiny and pretty straight. honestly, since i've gotten it done my days have been that much less stressful bc i wake up when i want not having to worry about how long its going to take me to do my hair. =) I havent touched my flat iron since!! My hair feels and looks so much healthier.

i was pretty nervous and excited about getting my hair done, bc i dont go to salons often, but my hairdresser, Jocelyn Manalo, made me feel comfortable and she did a great job! I will definitely go to her again once this starts to wear off and i need a retouch. she also gave me a cute cut so i def recommend her! THANKS JOCELYN for doing such a good job!! =)))

I recommend that if you're thinking about getting the brazilian blowout done...go for it! you'll really see and feel a difference! also, buy the shampoo and conditioner. using your regular shampoo might ware out the product faster. plus it smells good!

Ask for Alli!!!!!. Today I went in for a hair cut and I was THINKING about coloring it. I have never had my hair colored before so I was very nervous. I talk to Alli about it and she was amazing, we talked about whether I should die my hair completely or just do highlights, then she brought out all of the colors that she thought would look good on me. We finally decided and then we moved onto the cut. I explained to her what I was looking for and she did exactly that. It took her about 2 1/2 hours, she even had to call over another stylist to help her dry and straighten my hair because I have so much, but she was extremely nice the WHOLE time! When it was all done I had highlights for the first time and nice layered hair with bangs. I LOVE it! This was the first time that i sat in a stylist's chair and smiled the whole time! I can't wait to see her again!

Good experience. I only went here once, and Julie cut and colored my hair. She did a great job. I made my next appt but they called a week before and said Julie had left due to medical reasons. Turns out she is allergic to hair dye and at Carlton you have to do both cut and color? But no doubt she is now working somewhere just cutting, and I'd like to find her so she can continue to cut my hair! If you know where she went, please contact me via my review of Carlton on yelp.

ASK FOR JOHN!. John has been cutting my hair for years and I have ALWAYS been pleased with the results. He is very friendly, professional, and attentive. John is an artist with hair and it is clear he takes great pleasure in helping people look their best. I have long, thick, curly hair and John is very skilled at cutting it. My hair is now more manageable, healthy, and can look great worn up or down . He has also recommended many great hair products that work very well and I continue to buy them.
