“recommend the salon and the wonderful staff.”
“love this place, excellent service, not over prices at all, over all great experience.”
“This salon is clean , modern and very comfyThe entire staff is very friendlyI was lucky enough to get FAY fir my first style in a long tim.”
Just move back in town far 4 years, loved my previous hair stylist and did not want to loss the look I have. Called Bellagio they were very friendly and accommodating. Cici was sweet and understood exactly what i wanted, I love the color and she kept the style I had. So relieved to find them.
I went to Bellagio for a brazilian blow
out, pedicure and a full set of acrylics! I was always asked how i was doing, which was very nice! I liked how every service i went there for, was performed by a person that their main expertise seems to be only that one thing.. Knowing that made me feel good knowing that they would take their time, making sure i was happy with that they had done..
I am not very good with names, but the girl that did my hair.. was very friendly and recommended some additions to my brazilian blow out, i didn't even think about. But the final result.. OMGG my hair looked beautiful, and even 2 weeks later it's still perfect. The two ladies that performed my pedicure and applying my acrylic on.. the two nicest ladies you will ever meet. Made sure i was happy every step of the way. I am very happy with my experience at Bellagio :) and this will be my permanent place for all my future beauty services !! :)
I have lived in the San Diego area for over 2 years now and have been traveling to Oceanside for salon services. Now that i'm pregnant I needed somewhere close by and that does a good job. I am so happy I found Bellagio day spa and salon. I have used both their salon services and massage services and I couldn't be happier. The staff for both are very courteous and helpful. I will definitely be returning!
The Bellagio Spa is a relaxing, inviting, soothing atmosphere. I got my first massage here a week before leaving for college, and I'm so glad I did. The Swedish massage, done by my masseuse Megan, was amazing, and I left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Definitely coming back to Bellagio as soon as I'm back in San Diego. You won't regret spending a day here!
Michelle Risard is a goddess among mortals when it comes to hair...and Jessica Gomez on the spa side is THE best esthetician...best brazillian wax. I'm so happy Ive found them, Ive referred them to friends, and I cannot wait for my next appointment! Pradise for a couple of hours! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This from a Navy Wife who doesnt have money to blow!
Bellagio is the place to go for great service, quality work, and very nice employees! I have been multiple times and I have been pleased with all of the services I have gotten. They are also very understanding if you need to reschedule and will help you get in when you need to! I have never been less than pleased with this salon. Its in a great location and the salon and spa are both warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Bellagio for any hair, nail, or skin service!
Finding a hair salon and stylist is often a difficult task and one most of us dread having to undertake. I went through this experience a couple years ago and found Bellagio Salon & Day Spa. I've been a client ever since and couldn't be happier. They know how to do my pixie style cut and compliment the cut with gorgeous, blonde highlights. What more could a girl want but a perfect hair cut/color experience. Thank you Bellagio and stylist Zarina!
Owner is very rude and overbearing! Ruined my spa day!.
I just spent $480.00 on services and skincare products at this spa and don't plan on ever spending another penny there because the owner, Michele Phillips, was so rude to me. I moved to San Diego from Los Angeles nine months ago and had been commuting to Los Angeles to continue going to my spa there. However, after becoming pregnant 14 weeks ago I had been much too sick and tired to drive to LA. As I begin my second trimester I'm finally feeling well enough to get out of the house and get my beauty routine back. My wonderful husband decided I needed a spa day and found the "Mommy-to-be" package at the Bellagio Salon & Day Spa. The package consists of a prenatal massage, facial, pedicure and lunch. I added in a much needed lip & brow wax & hair color & cut. The girl who booked my appointment said my day would start at 11:30 and be finished around 5:30pm.
The day began wonderfully at 11:30 am. I was so happy to be out of the house for the first time in two months. I had my massage with Erin and my facial with Viktoriya. They were both wonderful, sweet and I talked to them about coming back again in a month do do it all again. Lunch proved to be a little complicated because I have Celiac and they only had one salad on their menu that didn't contain gluten, but at that time Michele was nice enough to get chicken added to the salad. At 2pm or so I enjoyed my lunch. Then headed over to the other side for my pedicure and hair. So far so good.
Had my pedicure with a very nice young blond girl who's name I didn't get but she was pleasant and I enjoyed my pedicure. I will say they need to redecorate the mani/pedi room as it's decore didn't fit in with the rest of the salon and it's high end feel. They also had a very limited selection of polish colors to choose from. Overall, the pedicure was nice but the room itself left much to be desired.
As soon as my pedicure was finished the manicurist slipped on my flip flops and told me I didn't have to move because she didn't have an appointment after me. I sat there for about 10 minutes letting my toes dry and speaking to another customer about my recent trip to China. This was when the incident started. It was a few minutes before 4pm and the owner, Michele Phillips, came in. She said, "I'm sorry but we're going to need you to move because the girl who's doing your hair has a client after you." I said no problem and stood up to gather my purse and water bottle as I finished the end of my conversation that Michele had interrupted so rudely. As I turned around after grabbing my purse from behind the pedicure chair Michele was once again standing there and told me again I needed to move. Then she unbelievably stood over me and followed me as I was walking out and to the hair station. It was so rude and upsetting to have her hovering over me and telling twice within a few minutes I needed to move. It's obvious she only cares about how many people she can get through in a day and not about her clients.
I was embarrassed and in tears by the time the hair stylist came to talk to me. Her name was Amanda and although she was very nice my day had been ruined and I decided to leave with out having my hair done. Amanda told me her next appointment wasn't until 5 or 5:30. It was only 4pm and I was having an uncomplicated over all color and a trim. Plenty of time for Amanda to do both before her next client. Besides how is it my fault if they had overbooked? If they booked my appointment too close to another appointment then that is their fault and has nothing to do with me! Especially when I was spending so much money! If I had gotten my hair done, with tips included, I would have spend around $600.00 in one day. It's so unprofessional Michele would chose to treat her clients in such a manner! If I'm going to spend $600.00 at my salon I expect to be treated well and be able to take my time and relax.
Dear Rain, I am so sorry that I upset you. That certainly wasn't my intent. From your review it appears that you enjoyed all your services and service providers, you even referenced how we accommodated your Celiac without any notice. You seemed to be upset because I tried to honor the schedule that was set with both you and my other clients and for that I sincerely apologize. We scheduled your Deluxe Spa Pedicure from 2:30 to 3:30 and your hair from 3:30 to 5:30, we let you sit and dry until 3:50 but Amanda had another client at 5:30 and out of respect for that client and your timeline, we did need you to start your next service. I also apologize because I didnt intend to hover, I was actually trying to assist you with your things as I felt badly about moving you.
My apologies again Rain.
Sincerely,
Michele
nails, nails, nails!. I have been coming here for nails. Angela and Nina are both great! They turned me onto this new polish called Shellac, it is so amazing! It dries immediately so I don't mess up my nails before I even leave the salon and it last for 2 weeks! The coolest thing ever! I also love the folks at the front desk! They know me by name and are always so friendly and helpful! You should definitely try this place!
massages and facials. Best place ever for massages and facials in San Diego! My two best friends were visiting from CO and it was a rainy day so we decided to treat our selves to a spa day! It was so great! We did the couples day package (even though there were 3 of us haha!) You get a facial and massages and a really great spa lunch with champagne! All the people who did our services were really great and fun, we had a really good time and plan to come back the next time they visit!
