old country BBQ. This place is awesome! Just like the good old country BBQ you would find in Texas!! The people who work there are real nice and friendly. The pulled pork and beef are soooo yummy! Ribs are pretty darn good too! And don't forget to try the potato salad! I was one happy camper after having dinner there! The portions are big so bring your appetite. Unbelievable BBQ, Outstanding Service. My husband and I went to Abbey's Real Texas BBQ for the first time about a week ago and boy let me tell you was that some damn good stuff. We just moved out here from Texas and I swear their stuff even beats some of the BBQ we had back home. Their service was excellent, the two gentlemen in the back were extremely friendly and funny, they sure knew how to make us feel at home. My husband loved those guys as well because they sure knew their sports as well. I looked at the other reviews and it just seems funny to me how people can even say this place is overpriced. The price is very reasonable and well worth it because the quality was amazing and in all honesty I would have payed twenty more dollars just because of how great the food and service was. Thank you Abbey's for being our new favorite BBQ spot in all of San Diego. God bless…
good food, but way overpriced!. We've been to a lot of bbq places, including TX and Carolina. What we had was good (pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork wrap, potato salad, beans) but really not any better than any other bbq place we've been to. Tender meat, but thought the sauce was a little too spicy/hot, potato salad too tart, ok beans. mediocre service and atmosphere. Prices were too high. For sandwich and 1 side: $9.99!! (Fair price would be 5.99.) Drink: $2.59 also a little pricey. We will not go back because of prices.…

Matt and Athena, You have really out done yourselves and our community. Your bbq is the best outside of Texas. We have known each other since your first few months on Miramar Road, and you have
grown to another location. I really enjoy the family atomsphere at your restaurants. My family has really enjoyed your food for many years. Now my daughter is a new generation of enjoying your food. Keep up the great work and we will enjoy it for many more years to come.
