Shame on LA CHINA. They tried to over charge us. Not by a little but a lot. If you go here be sure to look over your bill before leaving. They tried to charge us 45 dollars for one plate, some rice and a coke. As for food and service. The waitress was just weird. She didn't understand anything we told her. Got orders wrong and had to flag her down to get her attention. The food.. just ok. Oh yeah.. The wine tasted watered down. Yuk.

atmosphere!. The people at La China are why we go back. Calm, efficient and consistent service. The food is good and the decor is attractive with mirrors and table linen. We have taken a large group there and were very pleased, but it is a waste of good atmosphere to take the kids. Save this place for a date!

Horrible. My husband and I ate lunch here on a Monday. The decor is cheap and plastic appearing in lavender and greens. The service was OK, but nothing to rave about. Although the restaurant was almost empty (now I know why), we were seated next to a bus station, so it was noisy. Also, someone was setting the other tables with plastic bowls, and managed to loudly slam each one down....40 times. The food was pedestrian at best. My mooshi (spelling?) was not tasty, and my husband's "brown rice" was tasteless, and they would not give us a "to-go" container for the soup because it was "free soup" that came complimentary with the lunch. I'm pretty sure we paid for it as a part of the lunch special. I was absolutely offended, and will never go back. Would not recommend this place to anyone, ever, for any reason. Try the nearby sushi, mexican, or italian restaurants. They are so superior that I have to wonder how this place is still in business. Horrible.
