After waiting 20 weeks (12 weeks promised) our order was incorrect. NOT ONCE did they every contact us to let us know the status of our order. Each time called, I was told is should be here next week.
When the furniture FINALLY came, we discovered that it was the WRONG color. COPENHAGEN ORDERED THE WRONG COLOR. Copenhagen had 2 opportunities to catch the mistake. The first time was when they "signed off" on the color from the distributor. The second time was when the furniture was delivered to their warehouse before it was delivered to our house.
We had to make all the arrangements for delivery. We weren?t home when the furniture was delivered. We had made arrangement for someone to accept the delivery, because we didn't want to wait another week for the delivery. When we got home the next day, we discovered that the furniture was the wrong color.
We called Copenhagen to let them know that it was the wrong color and to make arrangements to return the furniture. We asked for compensation for their mistake and our time. Copenhagen offered us to re-order at the same price that we had previously paid and that WE SHOULD BE HAPPY because they raised their prices 10%. Copenhagen refused any price reduction. Copenhagen also refused to pay the delivery charge.
We canceled the order -- didn't want to wait another 20 weeks or MORE for furniture from a business that couldn?t care less about us as a customer!
Copenhagen REFUSED to credit our credit card, because it would cost them. (It?s all about what is good for them). Then we have to wait 4 days for them to pay us by check (2 additional phone calls and another trip to Copenhagen).
Differently would NOT RECOMMEND doing business with Copenhagen Interiors, Leather Studio!
