Nickel City

Never setting foot into Nickel City, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had an idea, but never took the time to find out for myself.

Well, I’m glad I finally did!

It’s not our old school arcade. Although Nickel City has the classic Ms Pacman, they also have Dance Dance Revolution, which Nickel City prides themselves in having the best unit around.

This is no scaryMouse type of fun. At Nickel City you could win an ipod nano, a Sony PSP, a Nintendo DS, or an electric Razor. They even have prizes starting at just 5 tickets, Kids as small as 3 will have games to enjoy.

You can use your admission ticket all day. Drop the kids off and do some shopping or catch a movie next door.

Want a little bonus for doing a movie and some gaming, bring your movie ticket stub in and get 10 nickles free. The owner Steve even offers free wifi.

Nickel City is a lot of fun

We just went to a Birthday party at Nickel City in Carmel Mountain, north of San Diego. I just want to say we had a fun time. This is definately a great family entertainment center. They have tons of video games including free games. My kids loved the ticket games and the prizes. I was also surprised at all the new games they added since we were there for the last pizza party. Over all you get a lot of value for your $2 dollars.

  • Pros: Ceap to get in and play free games
  • Cons: Can get busy on holidays
