“very reasonable price especially considering the loca.”
I was very surprised to see such a lovely room- room was great, the staff was awesome- great service with a smile!
Good Location, close to attractions and outlet mall. As with all hotels in this area, it is a little pricy for what you get. However, it is clean and they do offer coupons for kids 12 and under to eat free (1 child for each adult). The TGIF's attached is horrible, don't bother going, regardless how quaint it looks with its lighthouse motif. Their food is expensive and terrible; really it?s just not edible. Instead go across the street to the outlet mall, eat at Ruby's Diner with your coupon or one of the other places nearby if you don't use the coupon (see review for King's Fish House next door to hotel, mmmmm). Overall this hotel is relatively convenient to most things in the Carlsbad area (GIA, Legoland and the Music History Museum are all just a couple of blocks away, as is the beach).
For more than 50 years, this hotel's familiar green sign has signaled budget-friendly lodging for families and business travelers..
Since its 1952 debut in Memphis, Tenn., Holiday Inn has become one of the most recognized hotel brands in the world. Kids rule here: Children age 19 and younger stay for free when sharing a parent's room and as many as four children per family (age 12 or younger) eat for free at hotel restaurants. Other amenities include 24-hour business services, an in-room coffeemaker, iron, hair dryer, room service, a swimming pool and a fitness center.
