Unstable, rude sales people, AVOID THIS BUSINESS !. If only I could give this "business" zero stars. Please read.

My MX-5 was hit by another driver while parked and after being totaled by the insurance company I went shopping for a replacement. I saw an enticing ad in the AutoTrader for one of their vehicles and called to ask if it was still on the lot and if we could arrange for a test drive. This was a newer turbo model and more expensive than my old MX-5; I wanted to see how the car felt and if its cost was justified . The person I spoke to on the phone replied "Do you want to buy the car, or do you want to drive it ?" which I felt was a rude way to start a buyer/seller relationship.

I stopped by the next day and gave the car an inspection. One of the brothers pointed out the car to me, then relaxed on a couch while I looked it over. I didn't ask to test drive it, partly because I was short on time and partly because I felt put off by their lack of service. All he said was that it was a good car and his price was firm, I thanked him, took a business card, and left.

Two days later I returned to the dealership. I had since found a better deal on the same year/style of MX-5, but before I purchased it I was interested in examining the Honda S2000, which is similar in many respects. This dealership also had an S2000 on the lot that appeared to be a fair deal so I returned (unwisely) and inspected that car.

I had explained my situation, how my car had been totaled and I was shopping for a replacement. And that the insurance company would soon stop covering my rental and I needed to replace my car in the next four days. I asked, politely, if it was possible to test drive the S2000.

The same brother that helped me before again asked me if I wanted to buy that car today, or whether I was just wanting to drive it. I again explained that I had only a few days to purchase a car and that I was motivated to buy but I couldn't be expected to put an offer on a car I had never driven. Their listing for the S2000 was reasonable but I'd simply never been behind the wheel of one before and I certainly wanted to drive the car before making any decisions .

He told me to go look at other S2000's and drive them, and to come back and make an offer on the car if I wanted to buy it. I was very put off. I tried to explain that I was serious about buying a car but he just told me to go look at other cars and not come back unless I was going to make an offer right then.

At this point I decided there was no way I would purchase anything from a dealership that had this kind of sales attitude and told him to forget it. I understand there might be guys that just want to get behind the wheel of a fun car and take it for a spin, but I explained my situation and I don't know why he was so rude from the beginning.

As I was leaving I opened my big mouth and asked him why he was acting like that and why he didn't want to work with me on buying a car. He said "I know your type" and that I wasn't interesting in buying a car and I was just wasting his time. This should have been my cue to walk away but my temper got the best of me and we traded some choice words which escalated (on their part) from language to physical threats in the span of a couple seconds. They basically chased me off the lot while calling me names and threatening to kick my ***.

I completely understand a review on another site that called the guys that work her "violent, rude, and extremely unstable." It's tough to imagine anyone having a positive experience with these guys.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. Its prices aren't that good and the brothers that work there are completely out of control.

My experience was negative enough that I've been creating accounts on any review site I could find just to tell my story about these guys. Go to a real dealership or private party where you can talk to people respectfully without being treated like you're invading their space.

AWESOME PEOPLE, AWESOME CARS, LEGIT BUSSINESS, A++ SERVICE. I was a first time buyer, my credit wasn't even that good (had some collections/repos) and i was previously turned down by other dealerships and my bank. I really needed a car, and i wanted to look nice. Miramar motorsports had a great collection of quality used cars: 1 owner, clean titles! (very important), like new condition, low mileage, and cars you'd only dream of buying new... Doing research i had my heart set on a mazda RX8, I knew i wasn't getting a brand new car. But the older models were pretty much the same as the new ones, same engines, just different interior like mp3 input, which i wasn't too concerned about. I talked to the boss Mike, he was a friendly down to earth person and honestly wanted me to get my dream car. He looked at my credit and said, "your credit is pretty wrecked. But I'll do my best to help you out, i can see that you are trying to better your credit and it shows." I go test out the car with his brother Ray. I immediately fell in love with the car... 10k rpm at redline... a high rev car and it was very smooth shifting gears... almost felt like i was a nascar driver or something. Going back to the office I was scared to face Mike with bad news of rejection... But to my surprise he was able to get me approve with wachovia (wellsfargo) which was my bank o.O. I was really surprised because i talked to my bank a few months before and they told me to get a better credit score... Mike said his mother works for wellsfargo and knew how to pull some strings and that he went from heaven to hell to get me approved. "You owe me a 6 pack of beer!" haha i was soo happy, my first car and it was the one i wanted i never thought it would happen with my bad credit score. MIKE/RAY THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Car runs fine, tiptop shape, and i baby it like no other. I'm a very happy client, and I'm definitely going to refer Miramar motorsports to my brother and friends.
