Best Hotel experience, so far!.
This was my families 1st visit to California, and San Diego of course. We were very impressed with this hotel, the beds were as nice as my own bed at home, we all slept very sound. Most hotel/motel beds are too hard or have no comfort to them at all, but these felt like they were pillow topped:) The location of the hotel was also very nice, close to everything including a Rite-aid which we needed to buy soft drinks, snacks. The harbor was about 5 short blocks west of the hotel, we were surrounded by Little Italy, so lots of fancy Italian eateries. The view of the airplanes landing was breath taking because we were so close, however the noise level was null, didnt hear anything outside except for the occasional trolly. The hotel restaraunt was a bit on the fancy looking, glass table tops over top the white table linens but the prices were reasonable. However each time we ate there, it was nearly empty and they offered NO kids menu. I would have to say that was a major downer since $9 for a burger for a 10 year old is too much, esp when most of it sits on the plate. The free breakfast was decent, scrampled eggs, oatmeal, toast (which was at times, too hard & crunchy), fruit, danishes, muffins and OJ, milk and Coffee. That saved us a bundle every morning and allowed us to explore the local eateries in the afternoon & evenings. Would we go back for a second visit? heck yes! BTW our family really enjoyed the hot tub, sure made those ache feet from the Comicon feel way way better:)

Good Location, Good Price.
The hotel my sister and I was pretty nice and the location was pretty convenient. The price was pretty reasonable and the ammenities are pretty good. It was just about a 15-20 minute walk from the waterfront and it was cool. The view from the room is pretty and the fun part about is looking at the airplanes making a landing. It's also good for families if the budget is the priority. I had a nice sleep and enjoy watching some good TV programs. I do highly recommend staying there and you can save when staying there. The area where the hotel is at isn't that bad at all. I wouldn't mind staying there again if I were to visit, soon.
