Wish I lived here with my mom!. I am so happy that my mom lives in such a wonderful, well-run, friendly place! She has been at Woodland Village for about 4 years and wouldn't consider moving anywhere else. She takes advantage of transportation, since she no longer drives, and she loves the many activities that are offered. At no point in her life has she had so many friends.

To me the facility looks like a 4* hotel, and I would gladly move in . . . if I didn't live in Maine!

Great place! Would highly recommend. I am so glad my mother is living at Woodland Village. It has been a delight to her and our family. The staff is caring and committed to the safety and enjoyment of the tenants. They foster a rich, caring community that cares for everyone.

Her microwave went out and someone was up the same day to fix this issue. it could not be fixed and a new microwave was installed within 2 days.

I would recommend this to any onewho is looking for a wonderful place for yourself or a parent.

This is a great place for my Mom!. I was surprised to see the negative review -- are they even talking about the same place? My Mother has lived here at Woodland Village for almost 4 years -- she has been uniformly pleased with the management, the upkeep and the activities. She has friendly neighbors, plays the grand piano in the lobby, enjoys the ice cream socials and the movies and - all in all -- is delighted to be part of the community.

She had a problem with the shower pole and it was fixed within 2 days. The library, pool, and downstairs are all kept very nicely. Ii rate this very high - and hope you consider this place for yourself or your parent.

Don't make the mistake of moving here. This property is going down the tubes. It is unprofessionally run. The owners don't care about problems, & office staff keep info from them. People wander the hallways & property all hours, vandalism in the parking lots, fire alarms constantly going off, facilities breaking down and dirty, jacuzzi dirty & doesn't work, people smoke on grounds where this is supposed to be a SMOKE FREE COMMUNITY, owners don't pick up after dogs even inside hallways, garbage is overflowing, buildings are infested with bugs, mice and spiders, appliances break frequently & take forever to be repaired, maintenance staff is overworked and under qualified, electric gates are regularly breaking, office staff play favorites and allow tenants to work in office....I could continue. Rents are raised exhorbitantly especially iif you move in on a "Special Offer". The worst is the ridiculously hideous charges passed on to tenants for water, sewer and trash upwards or in excess of $100/MONTH!! FOR AN APARTMENT!! I am sorry I moved here and cannot wait to move. It is like a perverted Disneyland here.There are many other senior adult community properties in the areas that are cleaner, organized, professionally run and a far better value than Woodland Village Apartments. Move in here and you will quickly be sorry you did.
