Don't want anyone to go through what I did.... Unfortunately. SERIOUSLY IF YOU HAVE HEALTHY HAIR DON'T GO HERE....... looks great the first time, but can't be repeated, most importantly lack of color expertise will damage your hair, unfortunately Never have had to write a review in a negative light before... Don't want others to go through what I did. Went to Dawn for color, yet it would never hold... The color kept fading, I had breakage, and my hair was so unhealthy.... Says she knows coloring, I trusted for I have not needed to color my hair, and was gravely disappointed. I kept going back hoping it would get better yet it didn't. Nice place, seemed like peaceful energy, they donate tips, yet what good is all of that if one's hair isn't healthy and isn't consistent and didn't last long... Same with the cut, Venessa, great cut once, yet couldn't do it again just as great... Kept cutting way too short, and angles, all wrong, making it difficult to style.... Save you're time and money, and don't be disappointed.....

Best Hair Studio...Hands Down...In San Diego!. Ubuntu is the best place in San Diego for hair, nails and make-up! Dawn and her staff make everyone feel special - like part of the family! And their expertise in everything from colour and cut to nails and make-up makes this THE go-to salon in San Diego County. Not to mention that they sell amazing products, they support and give to great organizations, and support other local San Diego businesses. Simply put, Ubuntu rocks. There is no other place I'd rather go.
