offering free extras. The ADT QuickConnect burglar alarm is a great way of getting a professionally installed ADT alarm installed in your home for under £100. As normal with installed alarm system there is a monthly fee for the monitoring service and maintenance and checks of the system. The fee with the ADT QuickConnect is £20.99. We had an extra 2 movement detectors added to the basic package. The stand kit included two movement detectors and one door contact for the front door. A bit of research found the best offer on the ADT QuickConnect from a website offering free extras. The installation and testing took around 3 hours and the engineer talked us through how the system is used before he left. All very reassuring.

immediate action!. The installation engineer was arranged efficiently and came out when promised. He did the work quickly and cleanly and made a small change to the installation plan to ensure best protection. The idea of a monitored alarm is that, instead of a noisy bell ringing outside and being ignored, a central office receives an alert about the alarm system and takes the necessary action.

superior quality. Finally I received my ADT-200A and so far the first tests were very positive. I was able to compare on my Optibeams with my K3, FT-1000D and IC-7800. In my opinion the ADT-200A plays in the same class. And the modulation reports, which I received, are all excellent and in no way inferior to the K3. It takes, however, some getting used to operating the ADT-200A in comparison to conventional machines but all buttons and keys are very clearly arranged so that navigation is easy. Handling the ADT-200A can almost be done intuitively. But only every day use will show whether the ADT-200A's quality is superior to my other transceivers.
