There is something about having an elderly family member get old to the point where external care outside the family is required that can be emotionally difficult to deal with. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been my grandmother’s loving Walter for years and I would do anything for her, but my real name is Travis and she needs assistance more often than not. At a certain point we took her car keys as many others do and started buying her groceries weekly. We were not sure at first non-medical home care was required, but after making those regular evaluations of her mental & physical health we saw complications we hadn’t previously foreseen, and were not aware that many more were on the way.The care advisors at Advantage Home & Health Services made the transition from our care to theirs extremely easy. They were not only able to adapt to our ever changing time schedule for wishing to visit and care periodically for our grandmother, but were also very informative along the way. I think over all of their great qualities, the one I liked the most was actually their patience with not only my family, but my grandmother. Do you know what it is like to have to tell a prideful elderly Asian woman that she needs to wear diapers? Though many strong relationships were built between us, our grandmother and Advantage, all major wars were fought patiently and caringly by them and won quite gracefully.

In what would seem are soon becoming our final days, it brings me happiness when she sees her caregivers arriving. Though she doesn’t have the ability to do so now, she used to get ready for their arrival hours before schedule and would not stop asking us at what time they would arrive. Sure, I’m sure her memory has something to do with that, but I think there is a little love in there somewhere too.

I could never thank Sherwin and the women of Advantage H&H enough for the diligent care and assistance they have provided over the last year. I would recommend Advantage H&H and their ability to care dearly for anyone in need of home care assistance.

You sent a wonderful caregiver for my great aunt who lives in S.D. She always calls and tells me how fun the caregiver is. I haven't heard my Aunt this happy in years. A big thank you for being a solid company with great employees. A++++ all the way.

it was nice to work with different clients. the differentsin home care than factility care.The management was nice and understanding. the co-worker are nice.when a client got sick or passed on.Working with the clients.

do not trust this agency.. I started working for this agency after I filled out my application and w-9 as an employee and after I was hired I was told I can only work as independent contractor and they did not even told me that I did not have worker’s compensation insurance and did not have any types of liability insurance. These people are not honest and most of these reviews are done by their Philipino friends and the girls working for this dishonest agency. I would not hire them and I would not work for them.

Lovely People!. My 94 years old Grandmother slipped off of a wet floor after she took a bath. We, in the family are all working and we are so worried that no one will look after her followin the accident. My mother asked me to look for a nurse or a caregiver that will accompany my grandma at home when we are not around. As I looked upon the directory, I saw Advantage Home and Health Sevices. I didn't hesitate to call them. They gave us Sherwin and didn't disappoint us. And as per my grandmother, Sherwin gave her the care and help she needed. She is just so wonderful! I'm happy that we've found the best companion for my grandma! Two thumbs up for Advantage!!

fantastic caregivers. Advantage has the best customer service I’ve received from a Healthcare agency. I’d tried several other home health companies and I’ve had my share of bad experiences, but I finally stumbled upon Advantage and their services have been the best. I’ve had many questions and always received short answers from many nurses, but their caregivers take the time to explain and comfort me when I am worried. What I love about their services is they give me more than just caregivers. There are times I need somebody to run errands with my mom and they have somebody for these type of services too. I truly have enjoyed Advantage as my mom’s caregiver.

amazing care and support!. Advantage Home and Health Services have provided my family with amazing care and support during my wife’s short but terminal illness. The RN’s were kind, caring and understanding of our needs in her final days. They provided the needed emotional support at a very hard time in our lives, for which we will always be grateful. They also made sure that she was comfortable at all times. The caregivers who came give my wife loving care while attending to her personal needs of bathing and dressing.
