Perfect for me. I got clean and sober there and stayed that way since. It's clean quiet and spacious. And the house managers really cared and wanted you to get it ... like if nothing changes, nothing changes I heard a lot there and I remind myself of that all the time. great place. this place was wonderful to me and i hope anyone else who needs it finds their way here too. It was really homey and supportive. I had my own room. everyone supported eachother, did outings , ate dinner together..great dinners btw..lots of other good things. glad i went here…
Great Place to get clean. My girlfriend went thru the program at New Horizon in Encinitas with very good results. The counselors are spot on. They also did a lot of fun outdoor stuff, hiking, bowling. Everyone there is really supportive and you can tell they care.…
Best rehab in southern california. New Horizon is the best place I have been for rehab. I did a wilderness program and I felt violated by the extreem teachings. That was many years ago. New Horizon treated me with respect and kindness. I have been clean since I was there. And I repaired my family relationships because of their help with family sessions. They really put a lot of effort into getting you the help you need. I love this place.…
DO NOT GO HERE!!!. Whatever you do, do NOT go here! You would be better off in a gutter somewhere. This facility used to be a assisted living agency for seniors but after years and years of the state and county going after them - they finally got shut down for abuse and negligence. The staff here is the same staff from before, and I used to work there. They abused seniors, didn't shower them, fed them bad and spoiled food, and would steal medications and personal belongings. I am not saying this to slander anyone or be mean - I just want to look out for potential future victims. Since the woman who runs this is no longer aloud to work in the medical field or with seniors, she decided to open up this facility. These people are scam artists and constantly have people coming after them for money they owe. They had fake doctors and staff that had no education and the only training that happens is through a workbook where the manager gives them all the answers. Unless you want to be around negative, nasty, mean people - that owe a lot of people money... I would NEVER recommend this place! Stay away from these nasty people.
