One of the Best Sushi Places Ever!. I like to consider myself somewhat of a sushi epert. Well expert sushi eater that is! Anyways, Zenbu in Cardiff by the Sea, CA has some of the freshest sushi I have ever eaten! the rolls that the sushi chefs make are to die for, the dj's spinning tunes is killer and the ladies to make up the ambiance is even better! Do yourself a favor and check out Zenbu today!

La Jolla's so-chic sushi bar opens a second spot in Cardiff. The second location of the Rimel clan's popular sushi spot (the first is in La Jolla) is already popular with the beach-chic Cardiff crew. And we're not surprised, considering the proprietors source the freshest seafood from their own fishing company, and have secured some of the top DJs to spin in the lounge. The space is similar to La Jolla's location: Low lighting and modern, lower tables and chairs goves it a loungy feel. In the sushi bar, cocktails are flowing as fast as rolls are rolling and the crowd is very beach-people-with-money. Our menu picks include vintage prime sirlion that you cook yourself on a hot volcanic rock (owners also have their own ranch and butcher shop), Zenbu roll and the Wind-N-Sea roll with tempura banana and avocado.
