I got the perfect hair cut!. Located like 3 blocks south of the Carlsbad village farmers market. My server at Hensley's recommended Miste and I felt completely comfortable and confident in her the whole time. She made suggestions on how to make my desired hairstyle work for my line of work. I wanted to go funky, without having the school district freak out and make me go back and change it. She turned my dull, limp, lifeless hair into one with shine, body, and funk! I even went out in the rain afterwards and it still looks good. She gave me the confidence to try something new, some short spikes on on the crown and it added much needed body. And she gave me a present, some Bed Head conditioner! Definitly will go back and recommend to others.

I found my new stylist!. Miste is awesome.

It's always scary to trust your hair to someone new, but I felt at ease in Miste's hand. After my best friend found Forbidden Hair Salon on yelp, she called in and we were in luck, they had an appointment open.

I brought in a photo of what I was thinking of doing. In the past I had been told that I shouldn't do bangs because my forehead wasn't long enough. That always made me sad because I thought it could look cute, but I trusted their opinions. When I showed Miste the picture she looked at me did a few things and said she thought it'd look darling. She asked lots of questions, was very communicative and took the hair style in the picture and tweaked it to fit my face.

For $55, plus a $10 tip, not only did I get a great cut that I was told wouldn't work, I found a stylist I'd definitely come back to.

I love this place!. I love this place! Autumn does my hair all the time! Every time I walk out I'm with a smile on my face! I've had other people do my hair in the past but no one can compare to her, she's a real hair artist.

Ps: Miste is awesome also! My friend Ashley gets her hair done by her and she does a great job, if I wasn't a loyal client to Autumn I would use Miste for all my hair needs.
