This had to have been one of my best boat showings as of yet. My clients asked me about a 2007 Hunter 44ds that is located in Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA) and wanted to see it. I told him that we could drive up in my car–it’s about a 4-hour drive, no traffic. No more than a half an hour later I received a call back from my customer telling me that he found a company that offers this amazing service leaving from Palomar airport flying directly to Oxnard, CA. (The service is called Air2Air Charter.

The next day we headed up to see Mike Doerr, president of Air2Air Corporation, where we were met by one of his pilots at the plane. We were lucky enough to be joined by Mike on the flight. As we headed up the coast, I took pictures of all the marinas between San Diego and Channel Islands. If you are looking to take a flight up the coast or just want to get up for some great views I highly recommend that you give Mike Doerr and Air2Air a call.

I’m Joe Graham and I’ve been in aviation just about my entire life. I’ve accumulated over 28,000 hours as a Captain for PSA and US Airways, and I’ve flown everything from Cessna 150’s, Birddogs, and Piper Cubs up through the Airbus A-330. I’ve also been an expert witness for several aviation related trials and trained over 60 civilian and 150 airline pilots. I’ve flown with Air2Air on several trips, including picking up their first airplane. They do a great job and have really equipped their aircraft the way a pilot would want an airplane equipped. That’s why Air2Air is my airline!

Air2Air’s red carpet treatment truly made the first leg of our Summer Tour efficient, memorable and uniquely enjoyable. Usually, we travel by tour bus so this was a special treat! Our pilot Mike Doerr was personable and provided celebratory champagne for take-off as well as other thoughtful extras like PC Magazine and Wine Spectator (personal interests of ours….) Our ‘leagues-above-asphalt’ journey from San Diego to Salt Lake City was filled with beautiful scenery, informative conversation, safety, snacks, and comfort. All of us at ArtisTech Media look forward to our next travels with Air2Air.

I travel between Victorville, my ranch in San Luis Obispo, and various airports in the Southern California Area for business. Whenever possible I fly with Air2Air. I’ve flown in most of their aircraft and with most of their pilots.

They do a great job. And, as the former President of the Douglas Aircraft Company, I’ve flown on many aircraft and with many pilots all over the world. That’s why Air2Air is my personal airline.

It was a great experience with a business I can tell really cares about their customers, and they are now the only cleaners I trust with this particular item. I use them for all my dry cleaning now.

Thank you for the great service. By flying with Air2Air, I was able to accomplish more in less time. Specifically, I was able to avoid having to make an overnight trip. We left at lunch, went to two different cities, held meetings, and made it home in time for a late dinner. In addition, I was able to get work done on the plane. The convenience of being able to control the schedule, land in locations that are not serviced directly from San Diego, and not waste time in airports are just some of the benefits to charter flights. Flying with Air2Air was a great experience, the plane was very comfortable, and the pilot was a professional all the way. I look forward to my next flight with you!

Air2Air provided my wife and me a most excellent flight. The comfort, speed, schedule flexibility, and safety were completely satisfactory. When I’m not flying my WWII Fairey Firefly, I’m an airline captain flying the Boeing 747. I’m Captain Eddie Kurdziel and I’ve flown with Air2Air on three flights. They were great flights. Very comfortable and enjoyable.

I was especially impressed with the cockpit avionics on Air2Air’s planes. As an airline captain, with over 20,000 flight hours, I’ve flown just about everything, Navy jets, WWII fighters, light aircraft, and airliners. With that background and experience I was surprised to find that Air2Air’s airplanes have equipment and displays superior to what is available on my company’s 747’s. I was envious. Moving map displays which show aviation charts and approach plates, Garmin GPS route and location displays, graphic engine monitors, etc., I wish I had the same gear flying to the Orient.

I compete in many tournaments across the Nation. Many of my tournaments are in the Southwest, and whenever I can, I fly Air2Air because of all the time we save traveling. Enroute I get a lot of studying done and I’m happy because this means I get more practice time. A one hour flight is sooooo much better than a four hour drive. It’s just like having my own personal airline.
