WORST MEXICAN FOOD EVER. Saw Lucha Libre on a TV show claiming this was the ultimate taco shop.

I love Mexican tacos and would travel anywhere for the best.

We made the trip to San Diego from Ventura Cty to enjoy what we thought would be the best.

I ordered one each of the classic steak and chicken taco. We were given some chips that tasted and looked like fried cardboard.

The tacos arrived, swimming in grease. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give them a 2 for horible.

The people that eat there must not know what Mexican food tastes like.

I didn't see a single Mexican eating there.

If you want to disappoint your taste buds, this is the place to go

Don't know what the hype is. The first time my boyfriend went here he got sick. The first time (on a later date) I ate here I got sick. The beans are too peppery. the rice is dry and salty. the rolled tacos lack flavor but the TJ corn is delicious and so are their salsas

Citysearch Editorial Review. For some, this is the ultimate combination--a taqueria mixed with "lucha libre" or Mexican-style professional wrestling. While you won't find any actual grappling here, the walls are covered with colorful souvenirs from south of the border. The menu features tacos, burritos and quesadillas--don't miss the Triple Squealer (a hamb, bacon, chorizo and cheese quesadilla) or the Tap Out (a taco, stuffed with grilled chicken and vegetables, topped with a creamy poblano sauce).
