Great food, SO SO 'rita. Over all, the place was nice. The food was the best part, by far! The Margarita, so so, 3 of 5 stars for me. The staff was quite friendly but did not pull through to get the order 100% correct. Truthfully, if you really want to know all about it, please read my DETAILED blog post about it! You can find a link on my twitter. A place I would visit again, but I would try a different margarita, I had the "Eldorita" and it simply was not the best. But delivered a great buzz! Delish!. So, I met up with 3 other girlfriends here on Weds late afternoon. I had never been here before. What a secret lil' spot!! Loved the happy hour! Appetizers were half off & delish & the drinks, YES, all drinks were half off as well! 4 girls with plenty of drinks & food in our belly's for $49? You can't beat that! Plus, it has a really fun atmosphere/sportsbar vibe! I will definitely be back!

Legit Mexican Food. I've been to Playa a few times now. They have some pretty tasty margaritas. I would recommend the Playarita or Rosarita margaritas. They also have Negro Modela on tap! That is pretty rare and is one of my favorite beers.

The food is excellent. My server brought out some chips and two salsas, red and green, for me to munch on. Both were good/fresh tasting. I liked the green better.

I ordered the carnitas tacos which come wrapped in corn husks! They were very flavorful and tender. Also, since I came during happy hour, I got a small appetizer for free! (who doesn't love free stuff?) I got to choose from a few options and got the merry piglets which are pork sliders with bbq sauce. Yeah, those were good.

Everything is affordable too, which is a must for my limited budget. Entrees range around $8-12. The restaurant itself is so nice looking, you don't expect the prices to be that good.

Anywho, try it out, I thought it was well worth the trip. I'm going to bring my friends out next time and sit around the firepit on the patio!

Delicious bang for your buck. I stopped in the other night and can't wait to grab a group of my friends and head back. Shared the tasty lime marinated shrimp appetizer and nachos. Great tequila selection--I opted for the grapefruit margarita though, and was not disappointed. Strong and not too sweet.

Big portions, reasonable prices. Perfect for a quick bite, a good drink, or a leisurely dinner with friends. Adore the outdoor patio with fire pit, heat lamps, and flat screens.
