Love my Barn. I have been at Rancho El Camino for a few years now. My Horse and I are very happy there. Such a nice atmosphere everyone is so friendly. They offer boarding, lessons, leasing and even have "Lulu" the riding simulator. Come see for yourself

Great place to ride, take lessons or board your horse.. I have had my horse at Rancho El Camino for over 10 years. I love going to the ranch. The boarders the trainers and the staff are all very friendly We have western and english riders of all ages and everyone gets along. There are 6 arenas and limited trail access so you always have someplace to ride.

One great thing about Rancho El Camino is they are always busy so someone is always there to ride with or visit with and if you are not there, someone is watching out for the horses.

Great place to board your horse or take lessons. I highly recommend it!

Mad Horse Owner. Rancho El Camino owner Shelly is a neglectful landlord who overcharges tenants, the footing is horrible in the arenas, they are fed low quality hay, and the place looks like a dump. The only good thing about this place is the people are very friendly. If looking for a place I suggest you look somewhere else.

Shelly raised our board $25.00 a month because the hay price went up. She has cut back my horses food. They should have hay for a couple of hours but my horse gets done with his within a hour. I think it is not right charging us more and feeding our horses less.

Great Equestrian Center. Ranche El Camino has it all. Great riding for all types of riding styles and age groups. A great friendly staff. Trails nearby and great prices.

Happy Horses make Happy People. Rancho El Camino (REC) is a friendly, caring, comfortable stable for boarding your horse, taking lessons, training yourself and your horse, and just riding around whether that be on the stable grounds or out on the trails. REC is easy to access and has pretty much the best weather condtions year round. My horse has lived at REC for over 4 years now, we couldn't be happier.

a great place to ride. My kids began to take lessons at the riding school at REC several years ago. We loved the instructors, school horses and the emphasis on safety. We then "graduated" to leasing a horse at the ranch, and eventually moved on to horse ownership.

The people at REC are helpful and friendly. The facility is very well maintained and managed and we LOVE the easy access to trails.

We have also worked with several of the trainers on the property and have found them to be professional and very knowledgeable.

I would definitely recommend this ranch to other families that are looking for a great place to ride.

Great second home. Anyone who knows me, or has met me, ever, has learned within a few minutes that I live and breathe horses. I have ridden since I was 5 years old and I'm now 51. This is, hands down, the nicest barn I've ever been at. Is your horse looking sick? someone will call you, or the vet! Do you need help with something? No shortage of people who will! Want to ride trail, someone will go with you, if you want, or tell you how to get there, if you don't, usually me. Want something to snack on? Bits tack store has food and drinks. The weather is usually milder than anywhere else, winter or summer, because it's only a few miles from the ocean, and in a little valley. Can't grow citrus, as it freezes, but we have peach trees, a plum and some apples, all dwarf, lots of flowers and you just can't take a bad picture of the place. If you want a friendly, no pressure kind of place, this is it, and has been for a long time. I've been there for at least fifteen years, or maybe more, and don't mean to leave. Nice people, nice weather, trail access, and flush toilets, which more than one barn I've been at has not had. The UCSD equestrian team trains with our jump trainer, Steffan Peters used to train at our barn, before his olympic medal, and we have a little bit of everything. You'll never be bored.

REC HAS GREAT AMENITIES. The management, staff are approachable, boarder friendly, and responsive to your needs.There is a nice mix of English and Western riding. You can board your horse without being in training. They have great quality care! If you don't have a horse you can lease or take lessons. The trainers are extremely dedicated to there clients education and understanding of all things horses. For anyone who is interested in learning to ride or improving their riding skills

Best place to board!. Rancho El Camino is the best place to board! I've been a boarder here for over 4 years. The staff is wonderful and they do a great job taking care of the horses. The boarders are also exceptionally friendly and everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand. Come bring your horse(s)!!!
