Pleasantly surprised! Great location if you love some good food. Phil's BBQ is right across where they have some of the best ribs I've had and the Broken Yolk is also close by where they have a some good breakfast. Not to mention the sports arena is a like a block away! Perfect if you're trying to shop at the swap meet or I mean actually go to the Sports Arena. The room was spacious and had some nice furniture. It also had a desk, office chair, leather chair and a little leather bench. The bathroom was pretty nice. I like how the shower and toilet were separated from the sink. It definitely makes getting ready more efficient. Not to mention how the mirror space is awesome! I booked the room for 1 night off of expedia for around $80 on a thursday which isn't too bad considering that the room was nicer than most of the hotels I was researching in the same area. Had an annoying experience with the TV because it wasn't very responsive but if you're not trying to stay in the room too much then that shouldn't be an issue! Parking is free, wifi is free and service was reasonable. I'm definitely planning on staying there if I'm planning on visiting Mission Bay!

Love this place!!! I was very skeptical about staying here because all of the negative reviews, however how those reviews do not come close to whet my husband and I experienced. First driving onto the property it was clean and green. Then walked into a beautiful lobby, with beautiful well dressed employees with positive attitudes. We asked for third floor room they gave it to us, we wanted a refrigerator and had maintenance bring us one. There are large grocery stores across the street, many, many restaurants from fast food to local cuisine. There is security walking the premises to keep all safe. Ample parking and customers are given parking permit so you always have parking. I will stay here every time I come to the San Diego area. Thank You Wyndham for making my stay that much more pleasant.

Everything was really wonderful. I had gotten it through Groupon and then added another night. I had a great time with the kids, just wish it was warm enough to swim - which of course you have no control over. The bed was comfortable - love the pillows.

Even though a hot shower would have been very nice; I was pleased that they offered us a complimentry breakfast at Dupar's. Most places would have said sorry. We were offered to use showers in other,rooms that did have hot water. Thank You for making us the guests feel valuable to your hotel,when the situation was out of your control,but our satisfaction remained your priority.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. It was nicer than I expected. From the outside it looks old, but the rooms were recently renovated and the lobby was almost posh! I really felt like this place took care of their guests something wonderful for the good price!

I stayed in a jr king suite alone, so there was plenty of room! There were 2 large Panasonic lcd tv's. One in the living area, one in the bedroom. Also, a generous mini fridge, microwave, toiletries from bath and body works, a desk, pullout sofa, and coffee table.

As far as location goes, it worked out very well for me. I did not rent a car because I was on a very short trip, so I was very pleased that I could walk to a Target, Ross, Vons, Chase Bank, Wells Fargo, Home Depot, and several restaurants. Everything was within 2 blocks. Even better was that there was a 24 hour diner type restaurant, Du-Par's, right across from the lobby that offered room service certain hours of the day. I didn't know about the gym option and I also did not have time for the pool, but that's another plus for me. I would definitely stay here again!!

Sarah and Jason at the front desk were especially helpful. I needed a ride to the airport on short notice and it was done. They were very professional and friendly.

Nothing to complain about!! Free wifi too!

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Wyndam Garden. At one point the ice machine was out of ice, so I asked one of the housekeepers where I could get ice. She took my bucket and brought the ice back to my room instead of sending me to try to find a machine that did have ice. Seems like a small task, but with kids present it was much appreciated. We loved having bunk beds in the room. The weather was not so nice, so we weren't able to go to the pool, but maybe next time we stay the weather will be better. Loved that there was a discount available for being a Costco memeber. I felt like I was given all the options of possible discounts without having to feel like I was asking for too much. Extraordinary! The room was most comfortable & the pool was very clean. Sarah & Tiffany helped me & my family feel like we were at home. They were both so friendly, pretty & welcoming, that I will come back just to see their bright & shining faces! Thanks Tiffany & Sarah!
