Hash House has consistently (the 2 times I've been there) gave me the best breakfast experience of my life. The service is great (think friendly, normal-sized suicide girls,) the atmosphere is original (farm/industrial,) and the portions are HUGE. I had "Lou's Special" (I think it was Lou,) a large platter of creamy mashed potatoes, topped with a fresh baked buttermilk biscuit, then spicy crab cakes, topped with an egg, and smothered in a SPICY hollandaise. That'll wake you up! It was beautifully garnished and served with a slice of juicy, sweet watermelon. The woman next to me had a Captain Crunch pancake the size of a Frisbee. Wow. The only downside is the price. For two of us it cost almost $40. In Indiana, where one of the owners is from, TWENTY dollars could feed four people a breakfast big enough to fuel them all day, pay the tab, and have change to leave a tip and pay for parking. Oh that's right, they don't have to pay for parking in Indiana! Anyway, I digest... Just go- it's worth it. Just know before you go!
