Custom work at its finest

I recently got a cover up of an old and not so good tattoo. I was amazed at how my artist Jim sat down with me and told me all the opinions there were available. He designed a tattoo for me that I thought to myself ( Will that really work) and it turned out awesome, even my buddies that use to give grief about my old tattoo cant even tell the old one is there. I learned by coming to Black Rose, just let the guy do his work and it will be great.

The Best in CA

Black rose is the best place I have ever received a tat from , I will never go anywhere else. I have recommended atleast 10 friends who traveled 3 1/2 hours to and had outstanding things to say.The truth about you get what you pay for shows it right here at black rose. They are super clean, professional, talented and fixed my current work that someone else screwed up and did a job 10 times better, the color is rich and beautiful that Kyle added. Kyle is my favorite, cool awsome and inteligent. (just dont ever give him sushi lmao) Jim is awsome and kind too. Brad your awsome as well and hope everyone at the shop is doing well.

Tattoo Virgin no more!!

I recently got my first tattoo at Black Rose Custom Tattoo while on vacation. As I told my daughter.... I was very impressed at the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere of the shop. We walked in one morning just to "check it out" and ended up making an appointment to get "Mother /Daughter" tattoos. I was a tattoo virgin..... she already has a sleeve started and many more tats in various places. I trusted her opinion that the Black Rose was one of the best tattoo studios she has ever been in! The artist ERIK rocked!! He was professional, down to earth, patient, creative, and had a fantastic sense of humor. (Yes ERIK.. Rainbow Bright now has an anchor!!) I am a tattoo virgin no more, and would highly recommend Black Rose to one seeking to enhance their pale canvas with some artful color.

Talented and Professional

I've been going to Black Rose for 6 years. My artist Kyle has always done an exceptional job with his intrepretations of what I have wanted. They are and have always been a very professional shop. Their customer service is outstanding and everyone there is friendly and talented. Shame on the preson who left a negative review.

I have been coming to Black Rose now for the past 4 years, and have never been disappointed with how the artists have interpreted my ideas. They are amazing at what they do, and their shop is top notch. You feel welcome there and comfortable exchanging ideas to get the finished product you want. If you want quality work, you found your place.

Best shop all around

My name is Erik and I work at Black Rose Tattoo. Obviously the person below has a personal vendetta against me or my shop. Please come down and see how professional we are and the cleanliness of our studio. We are constantly praised by our customer service and this is a form of slander. We work with many

local studios and have a great cross-clientel relationship. The quality of our artwork speaks for itself as well as our professionalism. The situation in the artical below did not happen and never would.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!

If you're thinking about getting a tat go anywhere but this place. Customer service is horrible, the shop is dirty... it's nasty! I went there to get a tat, I already knew what I wanted and this guy "ERIK" started to criticize and whine about what I wanted. Man, I'm paying I don't care what you think. He was extremely rude and the end result was awful, lines were crooked...a mess, I went back for a touch up and the guy said I had to pay again, RIDICULOUS. I had to fix it in another shop. Don't waste your time!!!!!

Hands down the best tattoo shop in SO CAL

I live in Orange County and continue to drive down to PB because they are that good. They have an all star crew, awesome customer service, and their new shop rocks! No more parking problems!!! I told Kyle my idea, he drew up an amazing piece in no time, and after my 3rd sitting my sleve is complete and looks incredible. I have been tattooed at a few different shops and i will only go to Black Rose from now on. I would recomend these guys to anyone!!!

excellence, hottness, and great work!

So far i have been to black rose twice. the service is excellent. The staff there know how to help you and are willing to listen to what it is yoiu want. I have gone in there both times with a specific idea in my head and walked out with an amazing peice of art work. the firt time i went in there Erik, my artist was leaving for travel but stayed just so he could fit me in before he left. I didnt expect that expecially since i didnt have an apt or anything. this last time he got my best friend and i in on her birthdayday. he was great listened to what we wanted, talked to us and not only did he do a great job both of us + prep time+ drawling+ a 15 minute break between us only took about 2 hours. the other artist sit back and talk to you too and make you feel welcomed...overall its a great place..i'll never go anywhere else. not to mention Erik is a hottie!

• Pros: nice shop, nice people----- worth the parking problem
• Cons: its in PB so parking can be a b@#$
